Now that queerbychoice has referred us to a report of evidence of anti-short bias in the workplace, this study, reported on at SFGate, seemed to be ripe for sharing:

People found unattractive if they stand next to obese friends

Not that we don't know about such deep-seated social forces, but pretty irritating to think about nonetheless.
