Yep, the PiJean's on the air. She's just segued from "Train in Vain" (the "hidden" track on the Clash's London Calling), to what sounds like it must be David Bowie's new cover of Jonathan Richman's "Pablo Picasso." It's kind of distorted---don't know if that's the record or the station or my lousy speakers/earphones.

I may've been a little rude to Ken, the janitor, with whom I'll usually converse a little, even if I'm busy. He'd plopped himself down in a chair, as he is wont to do now and then, clearly wanting to regale me with his particular brand of low-brow right-wing blather. I kept the head down and typed, as I certainly am'nt going to let him interfere with me hearing the inaugural broadcast.

You know, it's kind of like listening to UREZ radio, but, I have to say, a little cooler.
