Okay, the Detroit Tigers really have a shot at record setting now: of the remaining 11 games, they need to win 5 to avoid tying the Mets' record, and 4 to avoid having the new record all to themselves. Going 4-7 seems not at all unlikely for the hapless Tig's. It's sort of exciting, it a sad way.
