who am i now?

First to identify my new alter ego wins: a custom limerick for the occasion of the winner's choice! What a prize! It'll actually rhyme, too---no modernist, pose-y anti-limerick!

hint #1: he is known by 3 names

Ooh, I know now! Edward Everett Horton.

Oh, I hope I'm right. I do want a limerick. : D

dang!

Yep, you got it! Shucks, after your query earlier I thought maybe it'd be harder.

Okay, think of an occasion for a limerick and let me know. Congrat.s!

Yay! The more I looked at that little smirk on his face, the more I knew I had to know him, and then you gave the three word name hint. Pretty easy hint for us Rocky&Bullwinkle fans.

Occasion for a limerick? Hmm . . . how about going to see Louise Gluck (imagine the umlaut) in DC in October. : D

Sounds like an occasion for a sestina! But we'll see about that limerick, too.

I used to think Edward Everett Horton would be a good lover. Of course later I figured out he's 99% likely to be queer as a $3 bill (which is queer, btw). Still, I bet he'd be fun, if not passionate (and perhaps not much of a cunninglinguist).

So I guess I need to put in for a few days off in the third (or so) week of October...

I remember your curiosity about EEH. These things we'll never know . . .

Yeah, why not put in for that time. It's looking good at this stage.

Other limerick option--would EEH have been a good lover? ; )
