I just find it odd that this is an entire genre of postcard. I find myself wondering why one would choose to send this, and if it's for advertising the hotel, it seems like they'd have an exterior shot or something.
Maybe they had an exterior shot as well- and who knows what else- a view of the pool, a picture of a typical bedroom- and all for sale in the lobby at 25 cents each.
