That's a place that would be cool to discover, but I can't imagine sending home a postcard of it. Unless this is a one-off personal snapshot made into a postcard, so that the people in the picture are the people sending it--I keep wondering if that's how some of the old ones were done...

Apparently they're at Mirror Lake, in Yosemite. Probably there was a photographer there who'd do shots, sorta like the guys at the beach when I was a kid who'd take pix and then come back with them in a little slide-viewer keychain thing. Yeah, a lot of these old ones were printed just for the people in them (or whose farm was in them, or w/e).
