Ah, i think i figured it out. Either you used to use a different hosting site to imgur.com, or imgur.com recently got blocked by the Great Firewall. I can only see the pictures when i am on VPN now 😢

Must be a recent blocking. They do host some salacious imagery. They're connected to Reddit, I think. I just started using them on the recommendation of another lj-er, cuz it's a way to have free-hosted images that let you post 'em elsewhere simply.
