I'm trying to stay in the moment and hope somehow the plan will change. My inclination is just to stay away from the whole thing, but I don't want that. I don't want people who object just to shut up and go along. And I don't want to lose that part of my life (chorus), or to engage in it with him at the podium. It so sucks.
