To me, it looks like "D. O. L." but I could be wrong. Side note, where do you find all of these beautiful postcards?

I dunno--- it's so different from the "O" earlier--- plus it has that little cross thing at the end. Like, imagine writing the letter and making the pen stroke. It totally ends in a G, with a sort of warm-up decorative circling around it. At least in my heart. :)

The postcards come from all over! I've bought large lots at auction in person, or "grabbag" sets of a handful in online auctions, or individual cards in person or online. Thrift stores, flea markets, antique stores, used book stores, a book fair, even yard sales. A few cards I've posted I scanned from a book of postcards from the library (like this one: ) , and some are images of cards I've come across but don't possess myself.
