Lula gave me a pair of gloves, and I gave her a snow person.

She must've seen me looking at gloves online.  These are maybe a smidge long in the fingers, but a happy surprise about them is that they smell like one of those leather stores they (used to?) have in malls do/did, and that gave it an extra sense of family.  I half-expected to turn around and find an Orange Julius hotdog split in half long-ways with the chasm filled with melted cheese and bacon bits.

Here's what I got her:

She's already started to give its hat more of that "hobo" snowperson look.  A tattered necktie with almost surely follow, and that carrot nose may not be long for this world, either.

I just finished ironing the embroidered snotrags I've been working on.  "Snotrags" is better than "handkerchiefs" because---though both are compound words, and I love me a compound word---"snot" and "rags" are the same length + 1 syllable each, and "snot" and "rags" are funnier words, so anti-high-falutin'.  ("Low-falutin'"?)

Not much snow had accumulated since the midnight sweep, but I didn't do any shoveling in that pass, so I did some yard pathways this morning and will clean the Jeep off and make a path to the trash can later.  Since it's so cold out, getting the trash to the trash can may be good enough this week, vs. digging a path to the street or dragging the things over the snowpile.

Gotta say:  I'm kinda lovin' winter.   ❄ ❄ ♡ ❄ ❄

Huh. The only time got anything at Orange Julius, it was like an orange drink that had chunks of onion in it. In retrospect, I'll have to assume it was a screw-up where someone was sloppy with condiments, but I'd assumed it was a thing. When you are a picky eater, a lot of foods that are actual things are far more disgusting than adding chopped onions to orange drinks, so that you learn to accept that things are not how you want them, and you just avoid them. I mean if people think bloody, undercooked intact beef is delicious, maybe they think chunks of onion in orange drink is delicious. And now I am sad that I learned to avoid Orange Julius from my first visit, because a hot doge sliced the long way with the void filled with cheese and bacon sounds rather tasty. And the opportunity to have one is long passed, especially with an orange pop that doesn't have chunks of onions in it.

Unless, of course, adding chunks of onion to the orange drink actually *was* a thing. Because, as far as I know, normal people like onion chunks added to their orange drink because that's objectively delicious and the chunks at a objectively wonderful texture that I just don't appreciate . I really am baffled by the world.

I'm just gonna go out on a limb and say those onions were a mistake.

There was a frothy thing to an Orange Julius orange drink.

Being odd can make the world challenging in odd ways.
