ffloSuddenly there are croci all over, so I know it's the time of year my mother died. And this year it's been 20 years.
At the memorial service we gave out crocuses, a clever idea of my party-planning girlfriend, so that each year when they bloomed we could remember my mother. The original memorial croci are long-gone, but now I just let any and all croci remind me of her.
20 years. Hard to believe.
