I like the way you super- and subscripted summa that. :)

Here's the text as I make it out:

"This is the way you do at twilight when you are alone. It is also the way I have been doing ever since you sent me that lonesome post card from B.G. That sure was a good one and exactly to the point. Jan. 31st is a long way off &[?] do you think I can bear[?] that long laboring this way? [signed?] S"

As a bonus, here's the back:

Sent in January of 1912 from Char____ M_ [MO?] to Mrs. Bryant Allen Smith of Oakland, Ky.

It sez:

"Wednesday morning

There was a musical at the Opera House Monday night. One of the seasons lecture courses. I went. Bet you can guess who my 'company' was. There is to be another Jan. 29th and another Feb. 5th. Are you going to miss them all?

S.S."

Of course we are left to wonder, here a hundred-plus years later, what the relationship between these people was, and what was so dead-on about that other postcard referenced. Ephemera! (Is that too many digits for a personalized license plate?)

Thanks for transcribing. By the way, you can do multiple superscripts and subscripts, though I don't know how many!
