My mother would have been 75 years old today, were she not dead already.

Tomorrow's also her birthday, sort of. She was born at midnight.

That kitten is the sibling of a kitten squirrelkat adopted from a fellow co-worker's housemate. Don't know who got the little thing. I have just one cat, and he's either 16 1/2 or 17 1/2. All grey, with extree toes.

He's probably going to get a kitten friend of his own soon.
