Pictures of My Parents Found After They Were Dead

I'm not presenting any here, but I just saw one on my screensaver. I have several of those I was grabbed by that I scanned and see sometimes, on a monitor. Clues to who they were before I existed, and in general.

Sometimes, like just now, I realize it's odd I never saw any of many snapshots while they were still alive, while we were a family.

I've thought about this quite a lot. I know that people hate having their pictures taken, but since I had this realization a few years ago, I've tried to be a sort of photojournalist for my family. It won't help with the fact that I have zero pictures of my grandparents, but maybe I can stop it from continuing.

I have wondered what will happen to my pictures when I am gone. Maybe a niece will keep a few if either are sentimental but I suppose most will be disgarded as well as the majority of my other treasures.
