reclaiming portals, making small fields
It's a little something one can do, even if it doesn't last, and even if it's not changing anything in the actual universe. Just the GPS game. But it's a little something one can do.
Today I've suggested that the goddess likes the idea of sweet potato biscuits. So far she hasn't seemed to correct me.

I think I'm gonna be L10 for many moons still. I need to get almost double the links and fields I've got now, basically. That seems the route to the badges for 11.
I bought the stuff for the biscuits. It's been so long I can't even remember which glass I preferred as a biscuit cutter, and I may well not have it any more anyway. It'll be good making the place smell like what I'm thinking it's gonna smell like when those are baking, and maybe for some time afterwards.
Re: :]
The plateaus definitely hit now and then. I tend to play for shiny round AP numbers, or other things in between (rescuing portals stranded in the middle of fields, many-layered fields, spots on the intel ranking list, stuff like that).
Re: :]
But I'm with you on finding my own goals.
Oh, and what I made the place smell like with the biscuits was fire damage, but only from smoke. And it's gonna be 5O+ degrees tomorrow, so I can air out the place even more.

Aww. I've had some kitchen not-really-successes this week, too. (I really like the spice blend that went on the chicken. But otherwise, that meal did not go so well.)
But I really love window-open days. So yay for that?

But I don't think they make beaten biscuits (those hard, round rocks) in the regular South.
