warm day, didn't do yardwork

raining now.  windows open.  mochi cat wants them to stay that way, but it will be cold overnight, and it is time to sleep, oh it is indeed.

been listening to ani difranco a bit, for the first time in many years, off and on, a bit here and a bit there.

sang some songs after the presidential debate last night, and then there was more.

i love the sound of this rain and how tired i am and how easily i sense a deep sleep will be mine tonight.  i love letting myself go on some kind of faith that includes a faith that things will be messed up and hard, along with the faith that things are and will be just fine.  for they are, and they shall, and when you're really tired and have had some injections of joy juice and the kitten is so pleased about the rain outside the night windows, it's easier to know that they shall.

shall v. will has to do with assertion, but it switches between when you're in the first person and when you're in one of the other persons.  thus i shall and we shall are like you will and he will and it will, and we will and i will are like you shall and she shall and they shall.
