So it seems vjsmom is on the jury of a murder trial. Gruesome stuff. It's getting to her. She may not be checking in here any time soon, but in case she does: hang in there, S! And good luck distracting yourself in the evenings from thoughts of the case. (May I suggest baseball?)

Thanks for the encouragement! This thing has taken over my life, although I stayed busy today with soccer practice (J's, not mine), grocery shopping, pumpkin carving, mum planting, and Halloween decorating, so I didn't leave myself too much time to think. And the baseball's going to start in a little while--go Sox!!
