"Ganked" (I believe that's the Twilaism) from [livejournal.com profile] wednes:

You are .doc You change from year to year, just to make things tough on your competition. Only your creator really has a handle on you.
Which File Extension are You?

Me like.

Back from lazy yet active Sat. with [livejournal.com profile] onstar and [livejournal.com profile] bigfinedaddy. Zonked here at midnight. And on a Saturday, too! Seems earlier, since the Red Sux v. Evils is going to go on until dawn at this rate. What is it, like 17 to 6 now? Sheesh. Poor hot Johnny. Down three games to none. Yeah, maybe you could say they're just setting it up to be a bigger comeback (uh. huh.), but I ain't even hoping any more. They win 3 in a row themselves, I'll start hoping again.

Now who's sounding pessimistic?

Voter reform is what to fight for, hon. IRV, proportional rep. It's the only way we're going to get more than that quickly shrinking fucking inch.

Of course, that isn't gonna help the Sux at all tonight ...

Just got off the phone with [livejournal.com profile] upsidedownblue---he's so glass-half-full, you know? He almost has me convinced Kerry's got the edge.

E. had a good point the other day, after returning from England and having been looking at multi-party politics a bit: there's a down side to the system opening up. Yer way lefties, sure, get more play, but so do your reactionary fascist nationalist scary types---and they appeal directly to the dark side within humanity. A powerful force!

It's true. Everyone would have more of a voice, including the icky folk. But, as [livejournal.com profile] denkedran mentioned in responding to my rant of a few days ago, those without a majority have to work together to form coalitions and all. It seems a better way, in general. The Greens have done a lot in Germany.

And the dark side is running this country right now, so what would we lose?
