Well I _will_ share, presuming the chef coughs up the good word, but I'd love for you to come to this part of the world! I've got a pal in VT I have yet to go see since she moved there & have thought of a jaunt over to Maine, too. I really dug Maine the one time I was there. The only thing I remember not liking is that it seems there's an especially pronounced gap between the rich and the non-rich there. (Is that true?)

So. What are you doing for the 4th of July? Road trip to Michigan? I've got a birthday that weekend & am aiming to cook out for at least a few people, as I'll have at least one out-of-town guest. Then I figure later in July I'll try to have a bigger to-do. (It's part of the effort to claim for myself this place I'm paying all my income [plus some!] to live in: get it together enough for houseguests.) (Houseguests: good.)
