21 years ago today I broke the diet Coke habit.

In other/tedious news, I woke today with a headache that seems to be in no hurry to go away. I hate it. Pollen might well be a factor, but I did have chocolate last night, too. It's one of those light-sound-movement-all-bad ones, with nausea and throbbing. But it's definitely not the worst I've had like this.

Nonetheless, as I got into the car to drive in this morning, I tried to imagine living henceforth with the current set of physiological sensations, and I couldn't quite touch how you could go on indefinitely that way. So it's a good thing, I thought, weakly, as I tossed my lunch into the passenger seat, that things don't generally stay the same this way for us humans. But I also couldn't call up how it might be not to have the head problem. Things in the head can be mighty terrible things, the way they pervade everything.

No headache today, halleloo.

I can't make tuna fish salad worth a lick. At least not with no celery in the house.

My taste for iceberg lettuce came roaring back a few weeks ago, and I'm still wanting to crunch on it in sandwiches.

There are TV shows on tonight with which I have an implicit appointment. It really is sucking up my evenings, the TV. Maybe I make dinner and futz online some. How hard would it be again to embrace the void(s) of tubelessness?

I still see A** A*drews's yellow daffodils, in healthy clumps, in my yard this year for weeks.

Oh yeah, I had a headache yesterday, too! Something awful, with three cold sore erupting in succession, requiring a third and fourth blast from Valtrex. It's been suggested that I'm under a lot of stress. Three cold sores... hmmm, maybe.

Glad your HA is gone. Mine's cleared up today too. Was it a new moon or something??? Does anyone outside of Santa Fe pay any attention to such things? I should be writing in my own blog. Sorry for being a blog hog. You're the only one who reads it, anyway, but still...

Oh, I meant to say that I saw a picture of him the other day, but I don't remember where. He looked like he has a plastic surgeon on retainer. His skin was sooooooo tight across his face - and just bone underneath it. Dude must have an eating disorder and some other major issues around self-acceptance.
