Anybody know this series? I just heard a cut from one and am a little in shock. But in a good way.

I love that sort of thing, and will have to check out that series, as I enjoy a lot of the artists who do the remixing. (I'm embarrassingly ignorant of a lot of the original songs.) Thanks for the tip!

You might also enjoy the series Blue Note Trip that was released by a remix act called Jazzanova. It's relatively faithful to the originals, but it's very cool.

I just heard the third disc in that Verve series last Sunday when I went to my neighbors' for Easter dinner, and I was planning on asking them if I could borrow it. I went to amazon, and people were saying that the third disc wasn't as good as the other two--well, i Hope that means I'd love them all then.
