Pigeons are taking over! At home for lunch today I saw a small throng of pigeons (3 or 4, anyway) win in a dispute with a blue jay (and blue jays are nasty birds) next to our driveway. Came back to work and found that the work pigeon pam pigeon by wall is still hangin' about. Our manager Pam wants it to be named after her, but [livejournal.com profile] upsidedownblue has been assuming it's a boy pigeon. Can you tell?

Wait until it lays an egg? I would rather we still had the crows; at least they aren't flying rats like pigeons (and gulls), and look far more impressive when they rise into the air as a flock.
