time outside

I remember thinking, when I was young, that adults must be crazy, spending so little time outside. Then I "grew up" and started passing the days mostly indoors my own self---but thinking, every once in a while, how it'd prob'bly do my heart good to be outside more. More of a percentage of my waking time on the planet.

I've been outside a lot in the past few weeks, the tasks at hand functioning, MacGuffin-y, to get my butt out there.

outside is good! today is kind of nice and coolly sunny... very nice. and the undergrads are leaving soon! (apologies to all undergrads reading this.)

I wasn't so hot on outside as a kid. I appreciate it more as I get older. Thought I anticipate freezing my ass off outside tonight if any students show up.

Yeah, I promised to never stop playing though i grow up. but i don't play much anymore, either. outside + play. the best of all worlds.
