Happy Spring, everyone! Here's what's on my feets today (Jewelz, my socks & T-shirt match):

spring shoes

Moreover, look what I got yesterday with some more of my Ace Barnes gift card:

MY NEW RAKE --- 20th March 2006

I'm ready now, Mr. DeMille! Bring it on, putative President! Hit me with your best shot, Mistress Benatar! Either that, or let this spirit stay with me until the season really comes along. Or let it go away & come back then. At least for a little.

Very nice rake. And way cool shoes.

Did I tell you that I bought a Pat Benatar CD at the grocery store for $5 about a month ago? I heard her singing "You're a heartbreaker, dream maker, love taker . . ." on the radio, and thought I might need it for my songs by pissed-off women CD. Actually, the CD I bought at the grocery store is already pretty much a songs by a pissed-off woman CD. Anyway--there's my totally irrelevant comment.

thanks for the compliment on the rake (which reflects on me, no doubt, at least in the rake-taste dept) --- also thanks for the rake!

A must-include on that CD: "Piece of My Heart" -- Janis. Yeah.

Way cool shoes!

I don't have any experience with rakes to make a pronouncement on that one, though. :-)

"pissed off women cd" --- hmmmm.... maybe I need to find some songs for that, too.

Wow, I cannot recall the last time I saw such exquisite footwear. I have certainly never owned a pair of sneakers so fine as those.

Rakes, OTOH, always remind me of SideShow Bob.
And that one is not exception.

Happy Spring!

That is a bitchin' shoe/sock combination.

I really need a rake. A mountain of spent sunflower seed hulls threatens to breach the deck.

Shoes...rake...shoes...rake...shoes...rake...Mr DeMille.

There are just two possibilities--the Sideshow Bob option, mentioned above, or the rake dance number.

Which is it?

buy bien!

Oh certainly, that number is on the list. The inspiration for the CD idea in the first place was hearing that Jann Arden song "Insensitve" (". . . I thought you might have some advice to give on how to be insensitive . . ." or something like that) and thinking that I'd like to send a recording of that song to a certain insensitive someone that I know. . . .

another song you have me thinkin' of now

I need to hear that song. Can I get a burn of this CD when it comes to fruition?
