Couldn't sleep much at all last night, and a headache came on in the early hours; it's dissipating now, I believe, but sheesh--- why can't I seem to remember that I don't feel great the day after the shots, despite feeling notably better in the knees?  Tracy noticed the pattern before I did, and I don't even see or talk to her anything near daily any more.  (Former work wife [and boss.  :D ] .)

It's almost 45 degrees F outside, too, which is like a heat wave, relatively.  I've got 2 cats in a window checking it out now, and I might actually step out into the sunshine and, I dunno, go get gas and maybe some Thai food carryout take-out to-go, even though I have stuff I can cook, cuz I think I could justify the later-in-day caffeine of a Thai Iced Coffee, and that seems like a summery thing.

Used to love getting it at a place on Greenmount in Baltimore called THAI RESTAURANT, where they'd serve it to go in one of those near-cylindrical cardboard containers you'd get soup-to-go in then, with the lid that cupped over the top.  And theirs was so good.

Behold, that restaurant, in 2009, when I was cruising through town on a back-east visit:

Don't you love the straightforwardness of it?  I don't even want to look up whether it's still operating, so that in my heart they not only are, but they're also serving their pad thai in the square-ish cardboard and their tea and soup in the cylinders.

Not far up the road from there, I saw recently when doing some Google map (and street view) noodling of old haunts, is Tupac's childhood home--- just around the corner from where I lived on E. 41st St for several years. Mighta even overlapped with him---likely, in fact. Probably saw him on the street, as I got ready to turn to go up the steady-inclined narrow parking-on-both-sides road, which put the finishing touches on my mad parallel parking skills.  Now his house is a historic site.

I'm gonna do it--- go outside.  The sun's behind clouds, which is maybe just as good from the headache perspective.  But I don't want to miss the warm-up, and if I'm going to get the tea with the sinfully delish sweetened condensed milk, I gotta get going.  Think I'll hit up the new(?) Siam Square location in the arch strip mall, after fueling up the Jeep.

Even a little pain improvement is good.  I wonder what my chances are of getting some largely pain-free times, for stretches, again.
