My shoulder's sore.  I realize it's gotten to be a chronic thing & I'm going to need help with it.  This is good, realizing this, at least.

I'm still floating with things I came across in my predecessor's predecessor's files, from the 1980s and 1990s.  A whole bunch more postcards people sent back to the folks at the office, for one.  But they sent letters, too.  And pictures.  Them with their kids.  Etc.  What a different world it was.

Turns out I don't have that much personal stuff at the office.  It's the files that should be kept that will take up most of the cool office-mover bins we're filling and stacking on dollies.  All that packing and going through of things has me in the mood to get rid of things.  I left a box of my mother's colored pencils, labeled by her, on the free table at the office, and it feels funny even bringing my two boxes of stuff home.  This space is also in deacquisitioning mode, though you might not know it, with packages coming not just of cat food but new walking sticks and some Snoop Dog slip-in Skechers that look sorta like Cons, and more CPAP filters, and then the materials for my porch project (which is coming right along).

I've been time-lapse photographing many of the stretches of a few hours that I spend out there on it, including changing my mind about a couple of the stencil piece placements and re-doing them.  But will I follow through with TikToking them?  I dunno

There were so many new people at chorus tonight that it was literally standing room only.  We overflowed the sanctuary.  Dozens of newbies.  As I used to joke, the Mormon Tabernacle Queers.  I left early, as there wasn't going to be any singing until 9:00, and I'd done all I needed to in terms of greeting and getting used to the idea of being back there.  Plus eating cookies.  I so rarely think of cookies during the summer, and then there I am at the chorus snack table, with so many cookies to choose from.  So many cookies.
