Those willy-nilly angles are quite something. And then I realize a lot of the little doodads indicate that it must be a pretty damned huge building. Which makes me suspect it's a super famous building that mavybe I've heard of. Some palace, and the only one that comes to mind is Versailles, which I wouldn't recognize if it bit me in the nose, because i assume that any building that would bite me in the nose would be fictional.

Looks northern with the towers & steep roofs — and then palm trees? Southern California? The place without a sense of place. (Unfair, i know....)

Seems it's in Berkeley--- was the Claremont Hotel, is now the Claremont Spas and Fancier-Sounding-Name Things. Good call!
