Hope to. There's a relatively more accessible option with relatively easy exit if the pain swells early on.   I've gotten as far as coming up with

.
But in more raw handwriting & all.

Went to look up when my fave local film festival's happening this year, if it's happening, and, yay, it is, but, boo, it's the same week/weekend as my chorus's production week and concerts.  And soon, when the specifics of what films are when come out, I'll be trying to figure out how much chorus I'll be skipping.  Cuz I went ahead and bought the pass.

I mean, I never look forward to the shows, or the production week, except for the day the band (and thus the drummer) show up, but i like something that happens that show weekend, with a different sort of bonding, specifically with my neighbors onstage.  It's good to have been in the show, and sometimes, for a moment here or there, being in it.

So that's down the pike.  In the meantime, adulting, adulting, and more adulting, with gaps between the adultings, but not enough gaps, nor long enough ones.

And all the while we sink, we know not how far, into oligarchic totalitarianism.
