As I headed out downstairs a little while ago, the most formal-dressing person in the office said to me in her slight Russian accent:  "50 shades of pink!"  And, yes, that's about it, today, with me.  All to be in the same color family with my bow tie.

Today's Postcard of the Day is in the extended fam, too.

Behind this cut are swaths of
my burn-out sleeves, jeans, and ballcap:

The sleeves, like the tie, were a gift.  Underwear (unpictured) (and not a gift) are more of a purplish reddish purple.  Socks?  Beige.  (You can't have everything.)

It's almost time to go meet with a trainee I'm about to pass on to another second reader.  This'll give me just one trainee I'm second reading.  That'll make work a little easier again.  Give me time to do some of my own editing.  Which I never value more than when I haven't been able to do it in a while.

Happy Bow Tie Tuesday to you.
