the Fates don't want me back in Baltimore?

Plans for Sunday in Charm City spoiled by---what, food poisoning? all-night losing of lunch, 104+ temp, major aches, exhaustion. But down to the 101 range now, and off today for the first leg back home.

This isn't the first time I've gotten sick on a jaunt back this way. Bummer.

Here's hoping I perk up for this last little visitation on the way home.

Barf news

It may have been some kind of bug--I barfed Monday night and had a fever all day on Tuesday--only got up to about 103 but was quite uncomfortable. May have been sympathy hypochondria--no one else seems to have contracted anything.Or maybe the chicken was bad, after all (although since I didn't get sick until Monday night, that seems unlikely).

and I'm pretty sure it's not hypochondria when you're actually sick. some psychosomatic aspect might exist, but seems unlikely to cause a high fever.
